Found and rescued while wandering, exhausted and a noose around his neck, in the pouring rain. A sort of miracle, the one documented by a video posted on Animals Care Media, a social channel that deals with offering help and protection to animals in difficulty (strays, victims of abuse and mistreatment, veterans of accidents).
The moment of recovery makes you shiver: the small and unfortunate feline meows incessantly, desperately, wearing the lace that tightens his neck risking suffocating him. His luck was to meet a woman who saved and protected him from a probable investment. The kitten, apparently only a few months old, was in fact wandering confused in the middle of a very busy road, risking being run over by a car at any moment.
“He walked aimlessly in the rain with a rope tied around his neck and cried non-stop until I helped him” reads the video posted on Youtube. As anticipated, the first to notice the presence of the kitten on the street was a passing motorist who, without thinking about it for a single second, stopped the vehicle and rushed towards the unfortunate feline to save it. Once reached and recovered she took off the lace, sheltering him from the heavy rain with her jacket. She then she took him home. After a nice bath it’s time for food and cuddles.
Finally spent the night in serenity, the kitten was transferred the next morning to a veterinary clinic. In the absence of the microchip, the generous four-legged savior has decided to adopt it.
