The gallantry, but also the imagination, of a man who courts a woman can get to do anything. The confirmation comes from the United States where a man has attracted the attention of social media after sending his personal curriculum vitae to the beloved dog of the woman who had aroused his interest in him. Objective: to make an appointment to get to know her better.
“A guy asked me if he could take Oliver and me out on a date,” says American influencer Kat Braden in a video. And to accept her invitation, the woman asked for a very singular “canine” curriculum to be submitted to Oliver, her beloved Goldendoodle, a crossbreed of Golden Retriever and Poodle. “I had explained to him that all questions and requests had to pass Oliver’s scrutiny and, therefore, I had invited him to send my dog attitudes, approaches and general behaviors with four-legged animals – Kat told the Independent – and that is exactly that my suitor has done.”
In the video in question, Braden indeed shared screenshots of the man-written resume adapted to Oliver’s specific needs. Among the qualities described: potential professional dog dad, gold medal in Golden Retriever management, tail wagging analyst and high resistance in games of fetch with the ball. On the second page of the original curriculum vitae, Oliver’s would-be future “dad” jokes that he has also created a special program, called Wag-While-You-Work, capable of increasing the wagging activity of dogs (i.e. happiness) by 60 percent.
Not only. She added that her suitor had been a special guest at the Annual Retrievers Meet as well as a conference speaker who received a standing ovation and several barks of approval. After showing viewers almost the entire curriculum curated by the man, the influencer specified to fans that his dog Oliver is “still engaged in a full immersion on LinkedIn. We’ll see what he decides.”
Since it was released, the video has received positive reviews from dog lovers all over the world. Many have pointed out that the suitor’s creativity and effort deserve at least one date. “If he did all this, he certainly deserves attention,” wrote a tiktoker. “A lot of imagination and a lot of effort must be rewarded at least with a rendezvous for a coffee,” added another. Finally, someone decidedly went the extra mile beyond. “Marry him,” her telegraphic suggestion.
For the time being, though, it appears that no appointment dates have been planned yet. “Oliver is unpredictable – Kat said – I never know what he can do in these situations”.
