A Ukrainian missile, perhaps a Soviet-made Tochka, struck the base of the 488th motorized rifle regiment in Klintsy, in the Bryansk region of Russia, where an armored vehicle repair shop is also located in the night between Monday and Tuesday. Klintsky is located about forty kilometers north of the border with Ukraine. And the fourth attack in eight days that Kiev launches against military targets in Russian territory.
In this video, an off-screen soldier says: “Here are the consequences of the night attack. The shrapnel flew up there. This is the crater, here are overturned vehicles, I don’t know if they were tanks. Our canteen is not it’s a long way away, even our accommodations have been damaged”
Regional governor Alexander Bogomaz spoke generically of a bombing “on the city”, denying that there were any casualties or damage and added that “the missile was destroyed by anti-aircraft fire, some parts hit the territory of an industrial area”.
