Recent progress in the field of artificial intelligence has also sparked reflection within the iPhone manufacturer, and the issue was addressed by CEO Tim Cook during the conference call held at the end of the Apple quarterly announcement.
The CEO said AI is a “major focus” for Apple, and noted that “It’s amazing how it can enrich customers’ lives”. However, Tim Cook claimed that his company has already been using AI for some time and gave the example of many services that use it: this is the case of the Apple Watch ECG, as well as the detection of iPhone accidents.
In the long run, Cook still stated that Apple intends to further implement artificial intelligence at the company level, but did not mention the possible projects on which the Cupertino giant is working.
Today the news emerged that Microsoft wants to use ChatGPT to write emails instead of humans. The Redmond company is focusing heavily on artificial intelligence, with huge investments in the OpenAI company which, as is known, has developed the ChatGPT chatbot. It is not clear whether Apple is also working on a similar project or if it will focus on other products.
