According to some reports published by the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has always been very knowledgeable about everything concerning the Apple world, the Cupertino company would be working on a new generation iPad Mini which will follow the iPad Mini 6 launched more than a year ago.
This new iPad Mini apparently will have a new processor as a “strong point”while it is unlikely that it will be redesigned on an aesthetic level since iPad Mini 6 has already debuted with a new design.
It cannot be ruled out that Apple will also implement an Apple Silicon chip to the iPad Mini: in this way the whole range would be based on the processors of the M range.
Kuo also reports that the new iPad Mini will arrive in late 2023 or at the latest in the first quarter of 2024, but it is unlikely to replace the foldable iPad that remains scheduled for launch in 2025. The analyst says that this region is purely related to price: “a foldable iPad will cost significantly more taller than the iPad mini, so such a replacement would not be reasonable.”
As always in these cases, we recommend taking these rumors with a grain of salt as they may not even correspond to reality. A few hours ago other rumors also emerged about the alleged five versions of the iPhone 15.
