It is no coincidence that recently the new Audi RS Q e-tron won the prestigious award for technological innovation applied to competitions, for the first time a car with electric propulsion and range extender raced during a Dakar.

In 2023 the goal is the podium in the Dakar, the most difficult rally in the world, to conquer such a record, the House with the four rings will field the second generation of the electric prototype Audi RS Q e-tron.
Also in the Formula 1 World Championship Audi’s entry is expected in 2026, to better face the top sports car series, it is working on the development of a hi-tech power unit with high electrification that will be powered by innovative sustainable fuels.
Audi TDI: first Diesel victory at Le Mans
It was 2006, when a R10 TDI with Diesel engine triumphs at the 24 Hours of Le Mansfour years later, with the R15 TDI, the House of the four rings celebrates a historic hat-trick.
Technology Audi TDI won to Le Mans also in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, the year in which the brand celebrated its thirteenth victory out of 16 races run. Successes achieved also thanks to the continuous records in energy efficiency: during the TDI era, over a decade, Audi reduced fuel consumption by 46%.
