A man with amputated legs and in a wheelchair was killed by police in Huntington Park in southern California.
The circumstances that preceded the killing of 36-year-old African American Anthony Lowe – the American media report – are not clear, with the agents having already revised their version on several occasions. Father of two, Lowe, reportedly lost his legs in another incident with police in Texas.
His family is now demanding that the officers be fired and charged with murder. According to the Los Angeles police, the agents, whose names have not yet been revealed, would only have been suspended
The video of the attack is circulating on social media. The incident would have happened last Thursday.
The incident comes as yet another punch in the stomach regarding the rights of blacks in America and fuels the controversy over the excessive use of force by the police, the latest occurred in Memphis against Keenan Anderson died like George Floyd and, by a tragic fatality, cousin of the founders of Black Lives Matter.
