“I’m dealing with Health problems It’s been a while and it’s very difficult for me to face these difficulties and talk about what I’m going through,” she says Celine Dion explaining that the illness made it difficult for her to walk and sing as she used to.
Celine Dion also announced with a video today the cancellation of eight shows scheduled for summer 2023 in Europe, including the show at Lucca Summer Festival which had been rescheduled for next July 15 after ponements suffered due to the pandemic.
In a note it is explained that the singer had completed the first ones 52 dates of the Courage World Tour in North America before the pandemic emerged and stopped touring in March 2020. Since then, the artist has been undergoing treatment and is recovering from severe and persistent muscle spasms that have prevented her from performing.
“It pains me to tell you that I won’t be ready to resume my tour of Europe,” Celine said. “I miss seeing you all…being on stage…performing for you. I always give 100% when I do my shows, but I can’t do it now. To reach out to you again, I have no choice but to focus on my health and I hope I’m on the road to recovery.”
