By now there is practically no reference to anything else in the context of the Tech world. After covering the AI features of the Opera browser, it’s already time to focus on other news in this field. This time we refer to something that could leave you even more speechless: the AI video generation.
In fact, as also noted by gizmodenow the time has come: services of this type are about to become more and more easily usable. This means that soon the attention of technology enthusiasts could also focus on this type of solution, as well as on innovations such as the integration of ChatGPT on Bing.
In between is the introduction of Gen-2 of Runwayan AI system that also features a Text to Video function and which aims to represent one of the first “open to the public” services of this type. If you are not entirely clear what this refers to, you may want to take a look at the video posted on the Runway YouTube channelwhich also shows the progress the project has made over time.
The results you see in the video seem to indicate that an interesting quality is being achieved for content of this type, even generated only from a text. In this regard, a system that could attract users’ attention more quickly is called ModelScope.
It is in fact an AI solution capable of creating videos starting from a textual input, which is already accessible through a common browser. Just connect to the portal linked to ModelScopetype the input in English describing what you want to achieve e press on the button “Generate video” to get a result.
It could clearly take some time to see the quick clip generated (which lasts 2 seconds), but understand that this technology could potentially leave quite a few people speechless. In any case, it is worth noting that ModelScope may only be used for non-commercial purposes. It is in fact an open source experiment of the DAMO Vision Intelligence Lab, or a research division of the e-commerce giant Alibaba. For the rest, clearly the debate about copyright and the sources used to train this type of AI has already begun.
