Never go against the Maya and their monumental architectures because the consequences are unpredictable. Thus the goliardic challenge of a Spanish tourist ended with her arrest, but first with shoving and hair pulling. It could have ended even worse if the police hadn’t intervened. The woman defied the ban imposed by the authorities by climbing to the top of the pyramid of Kukulcan, in the Mexican site of Chichén Itzá, to then hint a sexy ballet in favor of the camera. All while the other tourists and locals booed at her. “Get off” many shout, but she strikes a pose during the climb. A man chases her inviting her to go back but the tourist doesn’t give up and climbs to the top of her. She then lets herself go with a ballet and more poses. The curtain ends with her arrest but before her the angry crowd rails against her: some of her pull her by the arm, a woman pulls her hair, others protest by throwing bottles of water.
