DJI today introduces DJI Mini 3compact and ultra-lightweight camera drone ready for any adventure, easy to take with you anywhere thanks to the weight of 249 grams and capable of recording 4K HDR videos with its 12 MP 1/1.3-inch sensor.
The latest project in the DJI Mini series, of which we have already covered the launch of DJI Mini 3 Pro, Mini 3 has been specifically designed to weigh little and be usable by anyone regardless of drone regulations: under 250 grams, in fact, no license is required to enjoy an air travel while having fun.
As anticipated, then, DJI Mini 3 shoots fantastic videos in 4K HDR with its 1/1.3 inch CMOS sensor and lens with f/1.7 aperture. 4-in-1 pixel technology can create photos as small as 48MP to 12MP and individual pixels as large as 2.4μm for great low-light performance. Dual native ISO sensitivity and HDR technology help create sharp images in no time.
DJI Mini 3 comes with standard smart battery for maximum 38 minutes of flight autonomy, with live feed at 720p/30fps up to 10km away. With a wind resistance of up to 10.7m/s, Mini 3 can stand stably and maintain a stable image under various conditions. Thanks to the QuickShots suite, DJI Mini 3 can follow pre-programmed flight paths to capture both horizontal and vertical shots, with automatic ascents, spirals and circles. There Return to Home (RTH) function includes Smart RTH, Low Battery RTH and Failsafe RTH, allows the drone to automatically return to its home point in emergency situations such as a lost signal or low battery.
DJI Mini 3 includes several accessories, from the remote controller with integrated screen to the band to protect the propellers when the drone is folded for more convenient storage. Additional features include QuickTransfer with a maximum download speed of 25 MB/s; 2x digital zoom in 4K/30fps, 4x in 1080p and 2x in 12MP photos; or again, wide angle tilt for greater creativity.
