Elon Musk’s interest in cryptocurrencies is nothing new, but according to some leakers, the new Twitter CEO would be working on “Twitter Coin”a new token for which he would have already designed the logo.
The blogger and user Jane Mchung Wong has published a message on his official account with a lot of screenshot of the alleged Twitter Coin logo. A few minutes after publication, Wong’s tweet was set to “private”, a clear symptom according to many of how everything corresponds to reality.
Wong later also revealed in another tweet that the company is headed by Elon Musk may implement payments with cryptocurrencies in the near futureand a Twitter API leak shows a selection of tokens in the hidden settings of the “Suggestions” panel.
This last aspect is not new and several weeks ago Elon Musk had already announced that Twitter will allow the sending and receiving of cryptocurrencies, but he had not gone into detail. Evidently, however, the function is already under development and over the next few months it could make its official debut. We will of course update you should there be any news. However, it seems clear that Musk’s new Twitter will increasingly focus on cryptocurrencies.
