He is accused of having hit one of the two younger daughters in the face twice (one is 17, the other 14): first with a punch, then with a slap, causing the girl’s face to bleed. In a statement posted on his Instagram account, the former player has strongly denied the allegations.
Police said the girl had “bloodstains” on her sweater and pants. Investigators also said the girl’s mother showed them a photo of her daughter (which she allegedly sent to her herself) in which she was crying with her blood streaming down her face.
