Marc Jacobs shows are back to enchant in person, after three years of interruption due to the pandemic and digital fashion shows. The New York designer’s return to the scene, with the clothes for autumn/winter 2023, took place at the Park Avenue Armory, in the American metropolis. It wasn’t just the designer’s creations that amazed, declared homage to Vivienne Westwood’s punk fashion, disappeared last December: the parterre of celebrities who flocked to attend the fashion show did not go unnoticed. The world famous supermodel, who marked his entry into the world of fashion with a show by Marc Jacobs, in 2015, it was an obligatory presence at the parade on February 2nd. Everything about Emily Ratajkowski’s look made people talk about her. First of all, what was probably a wig, rather than a real change of hairstyle: a wavy bob with bangs. Her mind, looking at her cut, immediately goes to Uma Thurman and her iconic interpretation of Mia Wallace in pulp Fictionby Quentin Tarantino (1994), although the actress wore her hair straight.
As for the clothes worn by EmRata (nickname chosen by the model on Instagram) it was a vintage outfit from the fall/winter 2014 collection, of course Marc Jacobs. The total look in the nuances of hazelnut foresaw leotard naked transparent, flared trousers, pointed décolleté, matelassé pochette and bomber jacket cropped with fur inserts. The make-up resumed and supported the shades of the ensemble, with earth nuances on the cheeks and eyelids and gloss on the lips.
Lourdes Leon rejected at the entrance
Madonna’s eldest daughter is also a Marc Jacobs face, since she was the protagonist of the maison’s summer campaign in 2021. Lourdes Leon, 26, will certainly have done her best to sit on time in front row, or in the front row to attend the designer friend’s fashion show. But something must have gone wrong: she arrived moments after the doors closed. A “mistake” that obviously can’t be excused either very important people of its calibre.

Ashley Graham’s fluorescent outfit
Despite the absence of Lourdes Leon, the front row of the Marc Jacobs show was not left unguarded. Alongside Emily Ratajkowski and Nicky Hilton, sister of the better known Paris, there was also Ashley Graham.
The model symbol of body positivity, 35 years old and mother of three, opted for a clearly visible fluorescent blue, applied to a pullover maxi dress.
