A 14-year-old girl was killed today in Germany by a man with a knife who attacked her on her way to school. In the attack that took place in Illerkirchberg, a village in the state of Baden-Württemberg, another 13-year-old girl was injured.
According to Bild, the attack took place at 7.30 in the morning. The two girls were on their way to take the bus to go to school.
The alleged culprit then took refuge in a reception center for migrants. Police surrounded the building and arrested the three people inside, including the alleged attacker. The motive for the attack is unclear. Illerkirchberg is a village of less than 4,600 inhabitants south of Ulm.
