In March 2023, Google opened the doors of exclusive Pixel features, including Magic Eraser, to all Google Photos users, but BigG is preparing for an even more profound renewal.
Apparently, in fact, some lucky Android and iOS users would already be dealing with one new Google Photos appredesigned in some of its parts to better adhere to the graphic concept of Android stock and Google services.
The main novelty concerns the navigator between sections, which from a full-width bar at the bottom becomes a floating selector on the lower part of the screen, with the magnifying glass being moved to the right as a single circular key instead of second between Photos and Share.
Another difference concerns the replacement of the Sharing entry with one new “Memories” tabwhich will probably contain the creations made by the app for us based on our memories.
The Share buttonin turn, has been moved to the top right, next to the profile photo, as a simple icon with no description.
In short, not a revolution but a certainly interesting redesign. The question now is, will we ever see this on all devices or else is this just a test? As always, only time will tell the answer. In the meantime, here’s what to do if your Google Photos is full and you don’t know how to do it anymore.
