Hasbulla Magomedov, a social media star with over 9 million followers on Instagram alone, was arrested last week along with a group of friends. The 20-year-old was arrested for dangerous driving during a bachelor party celebrated a little too animatedly on the streets of Makhachkala, his hometown in Dagestan, in the Russian Federation. “We decided to exaggerate a little… it won’t happen again, we apologize. We played and we had to answer for it. But it wasn’t my car and I wasn’t driving”, the apology of the influencer – later released – according to reports the Daily Mail.
Hasbulla and his friends, according to what can be seen in a video circulated on social media, would have blocked a freeway and then also ended up colliding. “Although Hasbulla himself was not driving – the Mail Online explains – he was seen standing inside one of the cars before the drivers blocked sections of the road and then challenged and skidded into the traffic”.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan also intervened in the case: “The unbridled fun of the Dagestan-style wedding is famous far beyond the borders of the Republic – reads a note .- In the absence of other forms of entertainment, this primitive option remains extremely popular: blocking roads, burning tires and crashing cars into each other, things that in reality – it continues – have nothing to do with wedding celebrations”.
