An 83-year-old woman leaves her toyboy behind and replaces him with a cat as her daily companion. The third wheel is called Mr Tibbs and made his way into the heart of the pensioner immediately after his return to single status.
The story, shared on Facebook and Twitter, has sparked a flood of discussions and controversies but also tenderness and a lot of irony and hilarity. At the center of the story, the woman’s choice apart from her, also the previous love life between her and her 37-year-old ex, a young boyfriend, the subject of numerous posts and interventions on social media by the volcanic grandmother.
Irish Jones, this is the name of the English lady, has so abruptly interrupted the relationship with her young life partner, born Mohammed Ibriham. Having become single, the woman – instead of looking for a new human life partner – preferred to choose to live with a feline, certainly demanding but certainly less demanding than her young boyfriend.
The now ex-couple had met on Facebook in 2019 and tied the knot just a year later. To fulfill his wedding dream, the man had also requested and obtained a special visa from the United Kingdom authorities. At the beginning of their story Irish adored Mohammed. “I never expected to fall in love with someone almost 50 years younger than me,” she often told her friends. Everything went smoothly until something special happened. Their sex life, very active right from the start, at a certain point suffered a major setback. Relationships gradually became rarefied, finally zeroing and leaving the pensioner unsatisfied.
“Rather than making love – Irish explained shamelessly – we started talking and arguing about everything and for anything, inevitably ending up colliding and getting bored. I could not do it anymore”. No sooner said than done. Poor Mohammed was dumped and the pensioner, a short time later, let the nice feline into the house, choosing Mr Tibbs as her daily companion with whom to spend her time ..
“At least he never complains, he’s very calm and he’s also handsome: I love him. He doesn’t create any mess and he’s very happy to be with me”, added the woman with conviction. And Mohammed?
