Was sentenced to 21 years in prison James Howard Jackson, the man who along with four other accomplices last year in Los Angeles participated in the kidnapping of Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs and shot the singer’s dogsitter. Ryan Fischer was shot in the chest on a Hollywood street in February 2021 while walking Koji, Gustav and Miss Asia near Sunset Boulevard. The criminals took away Koji and Gustav. Miss Asia however managed to escape and later returned to the site of the attack, finding Fischer seriously injured.
“The plea agreement holds Jackson accountable for perpetrating an act of violence in cold blood and brings justice to our victim,” the district attorney’s office said. The crime committed included the charge of attempted murder. The other two attackers are in prison sentenced to four years’ imprisonment. According to authorities, the gang was unaware that the dogs, which can cost several thousand dollars, belonged to the singer. After the dogs were stolen, Lady Gaga offered a $500,000 reward. The woman who delivered them was charged with complicity in the crime.
