LFind My application from Apple it has proved to be essential in enabling the owner of a car to find the car that had been stolen from him. History demonstrates once again how the location system of the Cupertino giant opens the door to various uses.
As reported by WMUR, Mike McCormck, the owner of the car, he forgot his bottle of water in the car. When he returned to pick her up, however, he discovered that the car was missing, but fortunately he immediately remembered that he had left his AirPods in the car. At this point he opened the Find My application which allowed him to locate her.
Subsequently, McCormack informed the Police who proceeded to trace the vehicle to WeareNew Hampshire (just as indicated by the app): the two suspected thieves narrowly escaped, as they were successfully caught.
If McCormack hadn’t left his AirPods in his car, he probably wouldn’t have found his car.
AirPods have become increasingly popular among users, and recently Apple explained the lack of support for Lossless audio on Airpods which has raised many concerns among users. The Cupertino giant, however, apparently intends to continue on its path with proprietary codecs.
