Always have an eye for your privacy online, especially if you have a device that is used by several people – or, simply, you don’t want a “sly” friend of yours spying on you. After seeing how to clear travel history on Maps, let’s see how to empty google history from smartphone.
We are not really talking about Google Chrome, or the settings of the most used web browser in the world, but the search engine settings. If it might be difficult to understand the difference from a PC, from a smartphone it is immediate: all Android mobile devices, in fact, come with the app simply called Google pre-installed, i.e. the one with which you can better manage the functioning of the search engine even across multiple browsers.
Therefore, Google search history is deleted through this app, but how? Quite simply, once opened you have to press the icon of the Google profile of interest in the upper right corner, and then press on “Search history” item shown in the pop-up screen. At this point the dedicated screen will open, from which you can see the latest searches made in any Web browser through the Google search engine.
On the right side of the screen there will be a “Delete” drop-down menu which, when pressed, allows us to delete searches for the last 24 hours, for a custom time period, or for all time. In addition, you can set automatic deletion according to your preferences.
The deletion of the history will also affect any other device in which you use the Google search engine with the selected account. In short, it will be one quick and really simple general cleaning.
