Last November 30, around 8 pm, the carabinieri of the Carate Brianza station were contacted by a citizen who had noticed a car with a dog inside. The military then intervened on the spot, finding the animal, a medium-sized poodle, in precarious conditions, given the low temperatures that day, with the minimum reaching 0 degrees.
As a precaution, the firefighters of Carate Brianza and the staff of the Lissone kennel also intervened on the spot. Some witnesses reported that the dog had already been there since the afternoon. Therefore, to avoid potential frostbite, procedures were immediately activated to trace the owner of the car, a 49-year-old from Piedmont.
After about three hours of searching, the military managed to track him down. A complaint for abandonment of an animal and a report to Ats Brianza were triggered for him.
