Among the next releases of the Intel Raptor Lake line there are not only the new CPUs for laptops from the Santa Clara giant. On the contrary, theimminent arrival of the Intel Core i9-13900KS could make many gamers happy on desktop PC. But how much will Intel’s new top-of-the-range processor cost?
A Canadian retailer finally seems to shed some light on the matter of Intel Core i9-13900KS price. According to the listing that you find reported at the bottom (published on the web by colleagues of VideoCardZ), the CPU will cost 972 Canadian Dollars, or about 725 American Dollars, which at the current exchange rate translates into about 700 Euros.
What is particularly interesting, however, is the cost of the processor exceeds that of the Intel Core i9-13900K by 22%.: this is certainly not a small difference and which, if confirmed, could push several potential buyers to opt for the “K” version of the CPU, and not for the “KS” one. In any case, the listing also confirms that the Intel Core i9-13900KS will be the first processor ever produced by Intel a exceed 6 GHz frequency without overclocking manual of any kind.
However, we invite you to take these prices with a grain of salt, also because they could be simple place holders for the actual MSRPs of the new Intel CPUs, which all should be unveiled during CES 2023in early January.
This hypothesis is also confirmed by the prices of the 65W versions of the Intel Core i9, i7 and i5which are priced higher than the versions unlocked of the K series, when in reality they should be variants of the same CPUs with a locked TDP and a lower price.
