As the launch of iOS 16.2 approaches, which should take place next week, news comes from Mixpanel that iOS 16, officially released on September 12, 2022, will be present on almost 70% of compatible iPhones worldwide.
The Feedback for iOS 16 has been better than for iOS 15 last year, probably thanks to the innovations introduced by Apple at the Homescreen level and other sectors that have speeded up the adoption by users.
iOS 16 is installed in this case on 68.90% of devices, while iOS 15 is at 24.82%, with the remaining part of the OS installed on about 7% of iPhones. Over the past few weeks, Apple has launched various updates for iOS 16, in order to fix bugs reported by users as well as problems reported by the developers themselves.
Next week iOS 16.2 should see the light, the second major update for iOS 16 which among other things will expand the customization options for the iPhone 14 with always on display, but will also mark the launch of Apple Music Sing, and more. At the beginning of the week, the iOS 16.2 RC was distributed to developers and can be downloaded publicly.
