While we discover that the value for money of the iPhone SE 4 could be unmatched (at least among Apple smartphones), today a series of new rumors and leaks are emerging about the design and, above all, the iPhone SE 4 datasheetas well as its possible launch window.
The portal reports the information Macrumorswhich in a long article dedicated to the smartphone low cost of Cupertino has tried to take stock of what we know and what remains unknown on the device. For now, however, we invite you to take all rumors with a grain of saltsince work on the iPhone SE 4 would be on the high seas, and everything we know about the smartphone may be subject to change.
Macrumors, however, indicates that leaker as Jon Prosser and the portal MyDrivers are convinced that the iPhone SE 4 design will be taken over by iPhone XR, which means that the physical Home button will finally be eliminated from the smartphone, while Touch ID will be replaced by Face ID. Furthermore, the cameras dedicated to the latter will be contained in a notch similar to the one introduced by iPhone X onwards.
All of these rumors definitely make sense, because the SE line is known for reuse designs from old iPhones: for example, iPhone SE 3, released last March, was based on the design of the iPhone 8, albeit with decidedly more performing components under the body.
In fact, this should also be the case with the iPhone SE 4, which it should mount an A16 Bionic SoC: the A16 Bionic chip is the one currently used by Apple for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max and which will also be implemented on the “base” models of the iPhone 15. Considering that the iPhone SE 4 should come out after the iPhone 15, probably at the beginning of 2024, it is therefore likely that the smartphone uses the chip currently present on the top of the Cupertino range.
