“I hope to see the victory of the people soon and the fall of this tyranny that now rules Iran“. This is what Badri Hosseini Khamenei, the sister of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, wife of Ali Moradkhani, dissident of the queen, and mother of Farideh Moradkhani, the niece of the Supreme Leader arrested in recent weeks, writes in an open letter from Tehran for participating in the ongoing protests in the country.
“The Islamic Republic regime of Khomeini and Ali Khamenei has brought nothing but suffering and oppression to Iran, the Iranian people deserve freedom and prosperity and their revolt is legitimate and necessary to obtain their rights,” the letter reads. which was posted on social media.
“My brother does not listen to the voice of the people – adds Khamenei’s sister – and incorrectly considers that the voice of his mercenaries and grabbers is the voice of the Iranian people. He rightly deserves the disrespectful and impudent words he uses to describe the people downtrodden but brave of Iran”. “I oppose my brother’s actions – she concludes – and I express solidarity with all the mothers who mourn the crimes of the Islamic regime”.
In the letter, the Iranian supreme leader’s sister also recounts “many times I brought the voice of the people to my brother’s ears decades ago. But after I saw that he didn’t listen and continued on Khomeini’s path of suppressing and killing innocent people, I cut off my ties with him.”
Finally he states that “the Revolutionary Guards and Ali Khamenei’s mercenaries should lay down their arms as soon as possible and unite with the people before it is too late. May the people’s just struggle for freedom and democracy be realized as soon as possible” .
