Iveco will participate in the Dakar 2023 rally with two new teams.
The Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO and Eurol Team de Rooy Iveco these are the teams chosen by Iveco to tackle one of the most awaited and difficult races ever.
It is the most extreme Rally in the world, the Dakar 2023 will take place in Saudi Arabia from 31 December 2022 to 15 January 2023. Iveco will be the official supplier of two teams and will provide them with vehicles, engines and spare parts.

All vehicles Iveco Powerstar have engines IVECO Cursor 13 capable of delivering up to 1,000 hp, specially designed by FPT Industrial, the Iveco Group brand dedicated to propulsion systems, with very recent updates to the suspension set-up and tire inflation systems.

365 vehicles will participate in the 2023 edition of the Dakar
Vehicles that will have to travel a total distance of over 8,500 km on dangerous terrain, starting from the coasts of the Red Sea to cross the finish line in Dammam, on the opposite side of the Arabian Peninsula.
In this new edition, the level of difficulty has been further raised: the pilots will have to try their hand at almost 5,000 km of special stages already in the prologue of the competition, as well as 14 stages, including a four-day race in the ocean of dunes of theEmpty Quarter and a “marathon” stage in which crews and vehicles will compete without assistance.
