Two bombs exploded at bus stops on the outskirts of Jerusalem killing a 16-year-old boy and wounding at least 14 others, in what Israeli authorities consider a “coordinated terrorist attack” by Palestinian militants. The victim, reports the “Times of Israel” quoting the public broadcaster Kan, would be a 16-year-old student of Canadian origin.
Police attributed the first blast, which occurred during rush hour, to an explosive device planted at a bus station in the suburbs. The second – about 30 minutes later – hit a bus stop in a neighborhood in the eastern part of the city.
