Lamborghini Huracan off-road pays tribute to the concept car presented in 2019. It was born on the basis of the iconic V10 sports car, a car conceived, designed and engineered to explore any type of terrain.
Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato represents the Bull brand’s vision of the “Driving Humans Beyond” concept, the goal is to guide its customers towards new horizons by inspiring the new generations.
Maurizio Reggiani Lamborghini Motorsport Vice President he has declared: “It all started with one of the first Huracan prototypes, my team had worked on that car, chassis number 53, reconditioning it to create a laboratory on wheels thanks to the installation of off-road solutions and greater ground clearance. The first time I rode it, I immediately realized the potential of this atypical super sports car concept. Subsequently we built and developed the first prototype: it was tested by all the members of the company’s board, appreciating the emotion of a unique car, born on the Strada Bianca di Nardo, which in the Lamborghini world represents for the off-road vehicle what the Nurburgring Nordschleife represents for speed”.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato presented in 2019 was a concept car powered by a naturally aspirated V10.
The bodywork style remains faithful to the base car but numerous details clearly recall its off-road characteristics, the ground clearance has been increased, as have the attack angles, the widened tracks, the tires have an increased shoulder and the wheel arches got new vents.
The underbody has been reinforced, the same solution used for the front frame which now integrates aluminum elements protected by a bulkhead, a material used for the side skirt reinforcements.
Mitja Burkert Lamborghini Head of Design
