Police of the American city of Chesapeake, Virginia has widespread new details on the circumstances in which a supermarket employee shot 6 of his colleagues to death on Tuesday evening, before killing himself. The man who shot was identified as 31-year-old Andre Bing, he was the manager of the store and it seems he had planned the killing of his colleagues, because they had made fun of him and compared him to a serial killer: this information was found in a note on Bing’s phone, in which it was also written which colleagues would be killed and which would be spared. For example, Bing would have decided not to kill a colleague with cancer, because his mother had died of the same disease. The note on the phone ended with the sentence: “My God forgive me for what I’m about to do…”.
Police also said the man had no criminal record and that the gun used in the murders had been legally purchased hours earlier, also on Tuesday. The 6 people killed all worked in Bing’s supermarket: some had worked with him for years, while two of them had recently arrived. Among the victims there is also a 16-year-old boy, whose identity has not been disclosed.
