In recent times, Mark Zuckerberg’s attacks on Apple have become increasingly frequent, and the CEO of Meta has seized the opportunity and has took advantage of the dispute between Elon Musk and the Apple to attack it again.
On the occasion of the DealBook Event organized by the New York Times, Zuckerberg has once again targeted Apple and spoke about the App Store issue raised by the CEO of Twitter: Apple has somehow identified itself as the only company that is looking to unilaterally control which apps get on a device. I don’t think it’s a sustainable or good place to stay” said dad of Meta, who he praised Google’s approach. Speaking about the search engine, Zuckerberg said that has always made it so you can sideload and have other app stores and work directly with phone manufacturers. This has also been our commitment to how we built our virtual reality and what we intend to do with our AR headsets”.
On Apple Zuckerberg was very toughand always speaking of the App Store he stated that “there is a conflict of interest, which goes beyond the defense of people’s interests”.
The question and answer with the South African entrepreneur, however, did not last very long, since Elon Musk met Tim Cook at Apple Park.
