Mercedes Concept EQT Marco Polo is an all-electric microcaravan based on the long wheelbase EQT.
Although still under development, there are many innovations on the new Mercedes Concept EQT Marco Polo starting with the pop-up roof with bed.
The retractable roof can be raised easily with a slight angle of inclination, this also allows you to stand when you are in the rear area, the bed inside has a length of 1.97 meters by 0.97 meters wide .
Also in the rear area is another folding bed, behind the driver’s seat is a 16-litre compressor refrigerator and a built-in washing system.
There is also an induction hob and a removable drawer with a flexible gas stove with removable cartridge, numerous storage compartments.
All furniture inside the Mercedes Concept EQT Marco Polo can be removed.
Another feature of this concept is the housing of a solar panel placed on the retractable roof which feeds a supplementary, removable battery which allows the electric microcaravan to be totally energy self-sufficient for a certain period of time, the extra battery can be stored in a seat drawer during use, recharged at home or when camping.

A van soon to be marketed, characterized by compact dimensions, is 4,498 mm long and 1,859 mm wide, the long wheelbase version will also arrive in 2023.
Among the strengths of this model are the sliding doors on both sides, the low loading sill and the rear bench seat.
