A new “study”, even if it is in fact more of a survey, carried out a ranking of the titles able to draw out the greater dependence on video games, placing Minecraft in the first position.

The addiction to video games has been recently inserted among the mental disorders officially classified fromthe World Health Organization, causing many discussions about this and subsequent studies, although the results often are at the centre of disputes.

The case was taken under examination has no scientific value and cannot be considered precisely a study, even if it is based on elements of a certain rigor. In practice, the site Clutch has submitted a modified version of the Greenfield Video Game Addiction Test is 1570 users, bringing out the ranking below.

But we must consider that this is not a direct comparison on the level of addiction: the values listed in the survey refer to the average of the “dependency rate” expressed by the players who chose this game as their most played. This means that Minecraft, in the case in question, is the title that users with the highest average on the scale of “addiction to the video game”.

The results are somewhat surprising, with the presence of some of the securities to the vertices that probably we had not expected to see in those positions. In addition, several titles appear to be inaccurate as “Red Dead Redemption”, “Gears of War”, “Call of Duty” reported without reference chapter, so everything should be taken a little lightly. We see, therefore, the ranking of the games that have the players with the highest rate of addiction to video game:
