A video on Ukrainian social networks from the front in Donetsk shot by a Kiev soldier “out of breath”, with the background of some Ukrainian soldiers retreating on a country road, in the text of the online post: “We have come out of this hell, Bakhmut is on fire: Ukrainian servicemen continue to leave Artyomovsk in small groups, calling what is happening there hell, and complaining that they suffer many losses.”
Even Zelensky – in his usual evening message – admitted: “The situation at the front is tough in Bakhmut, Vugledar and Lyman”, while the latest update from the Ukrainian general staff reads: “The Russian army is trying to advance in the Donetsk regions and Kharkiv: the enemy is reorganizing into separate directions. The main efforts are concentrated on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansk directions, Kharkiv region and Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka in Donetsk.”
