Pre-Christmas shopping has taken an unexpected turn for passers-by on Bond Street, one of the shopping streets in central London: looking up at the sign of the Miu Miu store, they couldn’t help but notice a small dog trapped among the letters of the brand and the window, under the eyes of the staff looking for a way to get it out of there.
The solution, in the end, came with a coat hanger. The shop assistants used it to hook the puppy’s collar and pull the little one up from where he was stuck. All this, under the eyes of the crowd of Bond Street, concerned for the safety of the animal during the rescue.
The operation was successful: the four-legged friend was retrieved from the window to the applause of passers-by, held for a moment with their eyes upturned and their breath suspended during what should have been a quiet afternoon of shopping.
