The long-awaited presentation of the Radeon RX 7900 has kindled the hopes of enthusiasts due to a pre-announced starting price in contrast with the competitors, whose price point of premium solutions also reaches 1,979 euros.
If for the RTX 4090 the price was justified for many, it was certainly the MSRP of the 4080 that made the nose turn up, which unleashed the AIB partners with solutions with a price dangerously close to that of a 4090 Founders Edition.
On the red bank, however, we are getting closer and closer to day X, in which the RX 7900 XTX and the RX 7900 XT they will arrive on the virtual shelves of the official store and partner retailers no longer as pre-orders.
Still, the hopes of an affordable price even for the custom versions could crash against the wall of reality. Suffice it to say that in China, for example, prices of up to $1,600 are being talked about. In particular, the preorder price of the Radeon RX 7000 produced by PowerColor would arrive at these prices:
- PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 XTX Red Devil: RMB11,399 ($1,622)
- PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 XT Hellhound: RMB 9,788 ($1,393)
- PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 XT Hellhound: RMB 8,688 ($1,236)
This information adds to previous rumors about possible limited stocks for Christmas for the Radeon 7000, which arrived just a few weeks ago, although the hypothesis is still standing that this could only apply to the Reference and not for AIBs, which in China should conquer the largest share of the market.
