While the launch of Samsung galaxy Z Fold 5 is approaching, the foldable from Samsung returns to the web. This time, to appear online are some live images of the Galaxy Z Fold 5released by a well-known leaker specializing in the Android smartphone sector.
The insider Ahmed Qwaiderwhich in recent days has leaked a lot of information about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, revealed on Twitter that both smartphones will have a new hingewhich will allow the thickness of the devices to be reduced when closed, since it will be able to completely “flatten” the smartphones once they are folded on themselves.
To support his thesis, Qwaider also released the first ones Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 live photo, which have unfortunately been deleted by Twitter. The Android Police portal, however, managed to download the photographs, which you find listed at the bottom of this news, before their deletion. As you can see, the foldable “wallet” by Samsung manages to close perfectly, resulting completely horizontal once the internal screen is folded on itself.
This should reduce the thickness of the device and, above all, put the Z Fold 5 on par with the competition in terms of design: Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO and Honor, in fact, have all launched leaflets capable of “flattening” once closed. The new South Korean folding should have reached the same goal thanks to Samsung’s next-gen hinge, which however, according to some leaks, could reduce the longevity of the smartphone.
In recent weeks, it was even predicted that Samsung would not have used the new hinge precisely to avoid a reduced life of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, but it seems that these assumptions were wrong. For the moment, however, we do not know if the Korean giant has managed to reduce the size of the center fold of the screen of his “wallet” device, which are still a reason for criticism among users.
Finally, another photograph shows us that Samsung has slightly revised the camera setup of the Galaxy Z Fold 5positioning the LED flash at the bottom, below the system triple-room rear, rather than to the left of the main lens. The cameras, however, should be the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but it is not clear whether their relative position will be revised, perhaps swapping one or more lenses.
