I’m at least 5 bomb envelopes delivered in the last few hours in Spain. One of these was received by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. The letter contained explosive material ”similar” to those delivered yesterday to the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid, to a company that produces weapons in Zaragoza and today to the Torrejón de Ardoz air force base near the capital.
Also today, a ”letter bomb” also arrived at the Spanish Ministry of Defence. The Spanish National Police explained that the security services of the government presidency have neutralized the threat. The letter with explosive material had been sent by ordinary mail, as explained by the Interior Ministry of Madrid in a note.
Yesterday the envelope-bomb addressed to the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid exploded, injuring an employee.
