Video posted on social networks in Kiev: “Soldiers of the armed forces showed how they extract equipment from the mud near Bakhmut. After prolonged rains, the roads near the front have become increasingly impassable for heavy equipment”.
In the video, Ukrainian fighters pull cars and military vehicles out of the mud, “under enemy fire”. A soldier speaking into his cell phone camera: “Remember what we are dying for here, so that your children see all this.”
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, “In the last day of fighting in Bakhmut, 166 Russian occupiers were killed while another 206 were wounded”. This was stated on live TV by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevaty. “The enemy continues to consider the conquest of Bakhmut a priority objective,” Cherevaty explained, adding that “in the last day, the enemy has bombarded this sector 375 times with various types and calibers of artillery.”
