JB, the dog of the German homeless person who died last month under the arcades of Piazzale Hungary in Palermo, has found a new home and a family.
Constantin Niels Winfried, 41, was found dead in the street, almost certainly of a heart attack. It was some passers-by, seeing his lifeless body lying on the ground, who alerted the police.
The man, who had serious alcoholism problems and a lonely and completely wild life, poured all his affection towards his big dog. The four-legged, after the painful and forced separation from his beloved companion, ended up in a shelter, a companion in misfortune along with other strays and abandoned animals.

Decisive, for the happy ending of his adventure, was the involvement of a group of animal rights activists from Palermo who got busy on social channels to facilitate the adoption. JB, after a series of applications, thus moved to his new home in Messina.
