This bridge on the M14 Odessa-Mariupol highway, according to various sources, was attacked in the night between Sunday and Monday. The site of the explosion, probably due to a sabotage planned on the spot and not to a missile or drone coming from the North, was located between the city of Melitopol and the village of Kostyantynivka. “The Ukrainian armed forces are close, you will escape without looking back”, writes exiled mayor Ivan Federov on Telegram, underlining the “strategic importance” of the infrastructure, “through which the occupiers transport military equipment” towards Crimea and the still occupied portion of Kherson Region. A difficulty that adds up to that caused by the damage inflicted in October al Kerch bridge. Vladimir Rogov, the Kremlin-installed head of the Zaporizhzhia region’s military administration, accused the Ukrainians of “terrorism”.
