After the teenager whose bones had turned black, the American boy Isaac Johnson also discovered that he had a particular characteristic: the opening of the largest mouth in the world, which allowed him to enter the Guinness World Records.
The prize awarded to him in February this year confirmed that the 17-year-old’s mouth opening is indeed record-breaking, coming to measure 10.19 cm.
Engaged in a continuous “tight war” for the title, Johnson’s talent was first recognized in April 2019, when he was fourteen years old. His mouth measured 9.34cm but the record was surpassed seven months later by compatriot Phillip Angus, with his 9.52cm.
As he grew older, Johnson’s mouth grew with him. He managed to take back the record in October 2020, when his opening became as big as a baseball. Later, by increasing the aperture by 0.021 centimetres, he broke his own record. Now, in 2022, Isaac Johnson is able to hold a whole apple in its jawseven leaving some space.
The boy, of course, doesn’t fail to show off his skills on his TikTok profile, where he recently proved he can get into his mouth an orange, his entire fist, and even four cheeseburgers at once.
