A kitten terrified of the traffic that darted a very short distance away, risking being run over by cars. The video of Dodger’s rescue demonstrates how providential Marc Alba’s intervention was: the man was shocked when he saw the kitten curled up on the side of the road between cars and trucks at high speed: “I was horrified to see him: I I knew how it got there.” He was back from a day helping a feral cat colony but little did he know that he was going to face an off schedule that he would never forget. “I’ve done many impromptu cat rescues, but this is definitely one of the scariest,” the rescuer commented.
“As I was driving on a long overpass I saw a small tabby kitten standing on its hind legs,” Alba told The Dodo. thought would haunt me for the rest of my life.” The man stopped near an exit ramp and ran towards the kitten: there was a risk that he could throw himself between cars: “In my panic I didn’t even think of taking my gloves or a blanket to grab him. The kitten, who he named Dodger, was very scared, but once he was safely in the car with his rescuer, he calmed down a bit.
