From a mishap to adoption. It is the incredible story of a cat found behind a wall in a house in Este, in the Paduan area. But let’s go in order: it all began when a woman who lives in that apartment building heard a desperate meowing of a cat coming from behind her kitchen wall. So she decided to call the fire brigade for help.
Using a high-resolution camera, the firefighters discovered the presence of the stray cat which, probably attracted by the heat coming from the fireplace, had slipped down the flue ending up two floors upside down.
The firefighters made a hole in the kitchen wall and found the cat obviously a little nervous: after so many hours spent trapped, hearing the hammer blows further frightened him, leading him to scratch and bite even his rescuers. But a few moments of tranquility were enough, some food and the situation also had a wonderful happy ending: a lady from the condominium saw him and decided to adopt him.
