Twelve Chihuahua super grandparents are welcomed into the shelter in Venice, Florida, which specializes in hosting elderly and problem dogs, and their games have immediately become a viral video on the web. “Here they have found a new dimension and their freedom”, say satisfied managers and volunteers of the animal recovery center.
The arrival of the friendly band, initially a bit confused and frightened, inside a shelter for animals with a difficult past, sent users a message of happiness and love. The volunteers of the sanctuary structure are professional experts in welcoming puppies but, this time, they had to measure themselves with a delicate and out of the ordinary undertaking.
“We have a lot to do with these twelve unleashed grandparents, and we are only at the beginning”, are the words they wrote under the video presentation of the band, a few days ago. The clip documents the exciting moment of the merry gang’s arrival and their story. Deprived almost for their whole life of the freedom they deserved, in the place where they were recovered and now housed, the group of Chihuahua elderly people showed from day one – an event documented on board the car used by the volunteers to make the their transport to the facility – their initial perplexity in finding themselves in front of a staff specialized in hospitality and able to give them an infinite dose of love.
“I hope each of them gets a million kisses for the rest of their lives,” many users commented. Although there are dog breeds that are extremely compatible with Chihuahuas, here the perfect roommates of the 12 elderly dogs seem to be the shelter organizers themselves.
