The new survey launched by Elon Musk, in which he asked users to decide on his role as CEO of Twitter, gave the world a merciless result. The consultation concluded after twelve hours and the decision of the members left little room for imagination.
With over 17.5 million votes, 57.7% of users voted in the affirmative when asked by Musk about his resignation as CEO of Twitter, while 42.5% asked him to stay on.
A real rejection, in some ways widely foreseeable after the discussed decisions taken by the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX who, since he took over the leadership of the social network, has ended up in the eye of the storm for the controversial decisions on the change of policy and the suspension of many journalists from Twitter, which has also attracted the ire of the European Commission which through the mouth of his commissioners he ordered the social network to take a step back to avoid running into possible sanctions.
At this point it will be necessary to understand what Musk will do, who, however, has already relied on popular consultations for some months to make important decisions, always respecting the wishes of his members. The question, however, arises: who will be the new CEO of Twitter?
