A Russian missile destroyed an apartment building and damaged seven others in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, killing at least three people and wounding 20. Regional police said Moscow used a tactical missile in its night attack Iskander-K.
“At least eight condominiums were damaged. One of them has been completely destroyed,” Donetsk police said in a Facebook post. “There may be people under the rubble.” At least 44 people were killed last month when a Russian missile hit an apartment building in the eastern city of Dnipro.
Meanwhile, the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has arrived in Kiev, together with the college of commissioners, to meet the Ukrainian government. The chief spokesman, Eric Mamer, communicates this via social media. Bilateral meetings between the Ukrainian commissioners and ministers are also scheduled for today. Tomorrow, again in the capital, the EU-Ukraine summit will be held, which will also be attended by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
