Important news coming for Whatsapp status updates. In fact, from the latest iOS beta new confirmations emerge on the possibility that the app will give share voice notes in Status updates.
The news was reported by WABetaInfo, according to which the function was found in the latest beta version of the iOS app. As can be seen in the screenshot below, users will have the option to attach a voice note of up to 30 seconds to the Status through an integrated icon at the bottom right of the graphical interface, in a similar way to what happens for traditional chats.
There feature is still under development and it is not clear when it will see the light of day. WABetaInfo was unable to obtain further details on how Status updates with attached voice notes will be displayed.
This is not the first time that this eventuality has been talked about: already last July some rumors had emerged about the possibility of publishing voice notes in the Whatsapp state, but at the time there was only talk of the Android version. Evidently, however, Meta wants to extend this new option to the iOS counterpart as well. We will keep you updated as more details emerge.
In the meantime, for a few days now Whatsapp has been allowing you to search for shops directly through the app, but not all of them.
