Considering that once upon a time pandas also lived in Europe, it would certainly have been easier for many of you to do this job, but never mind, you’ll have to catch a plane. The The Giant Panda Protection and Research Center in Chengdu in China, it is in fact looking for professional panda keepers, or people who would have the job not just to keep company, but also to cuddle these fantastic animals. But what exactly does it consist of?
With a 365 day contract you can earn as much as $32,000 (about 30,000 euros), a figure that will certainly turn up their noses at those who spend their entire days at work dealing with the boss and with daily stress. The only requirements? Be at least 22 years of age and have basic knowledge of the world of pandas.
“Your job has only one mission: spend 365 days with pandas and share their joys and sorrows with them. It takes perseverance to do that” these are the words of the job announcement published by the Chinese centre.
Obviously, we also know that it shouldn’t be easy to keep dozens of pandas at bay and under control at the same time, however, for lovers of furry pandas who only eat bamboo, it will certainly not be a problem.
