We already have a possible Xiaomi 14 launch date, which could fall in early December. With a potential announcement so close, it is normal for an avalanche of information to leak out on the net about the new top-of-the-range Xiaomi smartphones: today, for example, the first appeared Xiaomi 14 Pro benchmarkswhich may be more powerful than expected.
To report the test are colleagues from GizmoChina, who claim to have discovered the benchmark on the GeekBench catalog. The test belongs to a device with model number 2210132C, which we know to be the serial number of Xiaomi 14 Pro. It is therefore not surprising that the smartphone has a SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen2, already confirmed some time ago by Xiaomi itself.
Furthermore, the benchmark confirms that the device will have Android 13 and 12GB of RAM, as various other rumors had already correctly predicted in the past few weeks. The chipset frequency, equal to 3.19 GHz on the Core Cortex-X3, is instead slightly lower than the 3.20 GHz that has been rumored up to now.
In terms of score, however, Xiaomi 14 Pro reaches 1,504 points in Single-Core and 5,342 points in Multi-Core on the GeekBench 5 test. This is a very high score, but also very similar to that of the first Xiaomi 14 “vanilla” benchmark, which had recorded 1,507 points in Single-Core and 5,343 points in Multi-Core: a result predictable, if we consider that the only difference between the two devices should be in the size of their screen.
According to what we know from the rumors, in fact, Xiaomi 14 Pro will have a 6.7 “AMOLED screen manufactured by Samsung, with 2K resolution and dynamic refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The smartphone will be launched with 8 or 12 GB RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB storage. On the camera side, however, the device should be equipped with a triple-lens system with a 50 MP main lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide angle and a 50 MP telephoto lens.
